August 8th 2026 – Book Sale

Thank you to everybody who supported our first couple of Book Sales in the new library! Our next book sale will be on Saturday, August 8th (10:00am – 1:00 pm) – find us on the upper level, in the community room.

Future book sales will be on the second Saturday of each month (same time; same place), so mark your calendars! Additional dates for 2026 are: September 12th; October 10th; November 14th, and December 12th. As well as a wide variety of gently-used books, we will also have puzzles, games, CDs, Blu-rays, and DVDs that have been generously donated to us. And check out our boutique area: we’ll have an eclectic selection of unique items that have been made and donated by some of our creative volunteers!

If you completed the SCCLD Summer Reading Program as an adult, and have Book Bucks, these will be valid on everything except the boutique items.

August 10th – 21st 2026 – eBay for Charity Auction

Our next eBay Sale will have over 45 books and book collections, plus some vintage games. It will begin on Monday, August 10th, 2026. Additional items will be listed on August 11th, and items will be posted for ten days.

Featured items include:

• A lot of 4 vintage Wff’n Proof logic and math games from the 1960’s 
• 3 antique 1882 works by Thackeray, including Vanity Fair
• An antique New Testament of the bible from 1882
• Five novels by Thomas Hardy – complete and unabridged
• JRR Tolkien – The Lord of the Rings. Illustrations by Alan Lee; published 1991

September 16th 2026 – Chipotle Fundraiser

Mark your calendar for Wednesday, September 16th, and plan to take a night off from cooking!

Our friends at Chipotle over at 1815 S. Bascom Avenue are generously donating 25% of sales made between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm that day. Online orders must be placed for pickup from this location, and during the hours of the fundraiser, using code EHRTL34. Ordering in person? Just show the flyer at the restaurant. Delivery orders and gift cards do not qualify. Tell all your friends!

2026 – See’s Candies Year-Round Fundraiser

Our year-round See’s Candies storefront is open! Order items now through December 31st, and have items delivered directly to your chosen address. Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, graduation, or other special day, there’s a wide variety of items to choose from, and all purchases help raise funds for our library! Heat-sensitive items are shipped with ice packs, and use insulated packaging.

2026 – Ongoing Jewelry Donations

Thank you to everybody who made our Jewelry Sale on June 20th such a success! Whether you donated items, helped to spread the word, or joined in the fun on the day, we appreciate you!
