What we can accept

Please compare the items you plan on donating with the list below. It would be wonderful if everything donated could be sold for the benefit of the library. Sadly that is not the case, other charitable organizations may be able to make use of the items we cannot accept. You can download a copy of this informations here.

  • Fiction and Non-Fiction Hardbacks in good condition

  • DVDs in good condition

  • CDs in good condition

  • Puzzles and Games in good condition
Please do not donate the following:
  • DAMAGED BOOKS : Dirty, torn, water damaged, moldy, smelly, marked-up with pen or pencil, highlighted, chewed or with loose bindings.

  • READERS DIGEST CONDENSED BOOKS

  • Time-Life Books

  • TEXT BOOKS more than 10 years old.

  • MAGAZINES OR PERIODICALS e.g. National Geographic

  • COMPUTER BOOKS published before 2016

  • SOFTWARE

  • VHS VIDEOS, LPs, AUDIO CASSETTES

  • TRAVEL BOOKS published more than 4 years ago

  • CHILDREN’S COLORING BOOKS

  • ENCYCLOPEDIAS

  • ANNUALS AND YEARBOOKS, including annual cook books

  • PROCEDURAL LAW BOOKS and MEDICAL BOOKS

Where and when to deliver your donation

Donations are accepted at the Campbell Express Library whenever the library is open.

We have limited space in this temporary location and request that you limit donations to no more than two bags a day. If you have a large donation then please send an email to president - at - campbellfol.org so that we can coordinate with you to find an convenient time for you to bring in your donation.
