As work and housing become increasingly dense, the space for real connection is becoming smaller. We are facing a shortage of places to belong, places where we are known and seen and understood. Luckily, libraries are here! Far from silent book warehouses, libraries have become a focal point for community members, their third space outside of work and home. As more families and professionals join our communities from across town, across the country, and across the world, the library is here to create a welcoming space for everyone to feel community. The Campbell Library has always been a pioneer of creating a remarkable moment and space for community building. Our plan is to continue creating these bridges for individuals and families through improved spaces and access. Please consider voicing your support of the Campbell Library as a third space for our thriving community. Our next city council meeting is scheduled for July 17 at 7:30pm.
